then you will be happy to know you can FINALLY COMPLETE YOUR GI JOE collection.

Originally, the last half of the second season was NOT available on DVD. That’s a long story, but the point is….

WE COULD NOT purchase it and have the whole thing!!

That is why they are releasing Season 2 ALL in one package. THEY KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO NEED JUST THE SECOND HALF. SO THEY ARE MAKING ME PAY

    FOR THE ENTIRE SECOND SEASON.

It’s a way for them to make more money off of people like me who loyally purchased the originals. Nice huh??? Makes me sick.

But, the actual episodes are great. I don’t want to take away from that, thus the 5 stars review.

Dirty trick, but I’ll still buy it. No other choice!!!

I remember this show when I was a kid growing up and have been waiting for years to be able to collect it on DVD. At last someone had the good sense to put it on DVD. The picture quality and sound are very good considering how old the material is. Now you can enjoy the struggles of the Joes against Cobra and watch Cobra Commander and his cohorts bicker and squabble to your hearts contentment. This is a collection that no kid who grew up in the 1980s should be without. This series is right up there with He-Man, Transformers, and others that made the 1980s a great time for cartoons.

I am so excited that GI Joe is on DVD & have added it to the list of DVDs I have purchased of cartoons from my childhood! The 1980s was the best decade to be a kid in!

If you like the old cartoons like thundercats and transformers, then you’ll love G.I. Joe. It’s easier to appreciate how awesome the cartoon is when you watch it as an adult because a lot of the ridiculousness that escaped you as a child is very obvious now. I would recommend this show to anyone and the dvd copies are great as far as audio and video. G.I. Joe is a true classic that will probably be enjoyed forever. It is certainly better than any cartoons that currently air and fits the old saying of ‘they just don’t make them like they used to’.

This third, and final edition of G.I. Joe A Real American Hero: Season 1 contains some of the best episodes in the history of the series. With classics like ‘Cold Slither’ where Zartan & the Dreadnoks become rock stars with a #1 hit, ‘Skeletons In The Closet’ with Lady Jaye exploring the creepy goings on in Destro’s ancestral home, ‘Excalibur’ where Storm Shadow becomes an unstoppable force when discovering the legendary sword of Arthur and ‘Memories Of Mara’ when Shipwreck falls for a genetically enhanced Cobra frogwoman and the complications that follow, this edition provides plenty of excitement. It doesn’t end there however, this also features the epic two parters ‘Worlds Without End’ where a Joe Team arrives on a parallel Earth to find Cobra has conquered the planet and eradicated the Joe team, ‘The Traitor’ where a desperate Dusty throws in with Cobra to save his mother and plays havok with the Joe’s and the riveting ‘There’s No Place Like Springfield’ possibly the most surreal Joe story, full of unexpected surprises and the return of Mara in Shipwreck’s life. There are a few duds in the mix, namely ‘Bazooka Saw a Sea Serpeant, whitch is pretty self explanatory and the lifeless dinosaur story ‘Primordial Plot’ where Cobra clones Dinosaurs and brainwashes them to fight the Joe’s. All in all this is an excellent purchase for fans of the show.
