I ordered Super Friends Volume 2 and Batman – The Animated Series, Volume 3. I got the limited edition cel in Super Friends Volume 2 but I didn’t get the limited edition cel in Batman – The Animated Series, Volume 3. I saw the advertisement in Entertainment Weekly and it said that there is a limited edition cel in both DVD’s. I feel ripped off, if I bought it in a retail store and it didn’t have the sticker saying that it has the sticker with limited edition cel, I would of never purchased it. It didn’t even have the decoder. This is false advertisement. If anyone else has this problem or know if I can still get the limited edition cel, please let me know.

This will be the best one ever, for it contains the best episodes, “Batgirl Returns” and “Catwalk” and “Harley and Ivy” and many more other good ones, if you want to see the rest of the episode list go to volume two in this series and it is there!

I think this was Batman and Robin’s best volume yet. I was cheering as soon as I got this volume. Batman and Robin’s final 28 episodes. This volume also introduced some new characters such as Ras Al Ghoul and Batgirl. If you like the first two you will love this one. So don’t forget to look for The Adventures of Batman and Robin Volume 3 in stores today!

Of course these episodes are great and that’s what counts, but compared to a Simpsons set, these Batman TAS DVDs seem a little empty: only 1 short featurette and 3 commentaries. The featurette is — once again — about a character of the series (i.e. Batgirl) ; sure, this is interesting, but there is much more to be said about what makes the specificity of the show: the way it is designed, story-boarded and animated ; this set is made for fans and not just for kids, so they could have made it a little more precise about the technical aspect of the series. That would’ve been great to get some storyboards too (since Bruce Timm himself made some of them). Since there are many great episodes in this set (and also very different ones), more audio commentaries would have been welcome (The Simpsons have 1 commentary per ep). And please, Warner, next time don’t put any video commentary! This one was irritating (very badly shot) and the moderator asked questions of which we already knew the answers and made irrelevant remarks: leave the show’s runners alone! Hopefully the next Batman, Superman AND Justice League season sets (please Warner, release them fast!) will have more extras and less absurd gadgets.
