Sgt. Frog got off on a weak start with its first DVD release being only mildly amusing and worth only a rental in my opinion. Things picked up with the hilarious must own 2nd DVD set. This 3rd DVD set falls in between the other two in terms of quality but it’s still downright entertaining.
This set has some very charming and touching episodes along with a few hilarious ones that make this set a must own either way.
The soundtrack and art/animation quality are very well done and pleasing to the eye. Both language tracks are excellent, and the English dub is again flawless with adorable and funny performances by actors who really seemed to like their roles.
